Colleen brings over twenty-five years of event planning experience to Shindigs. She graduated from the University of Nebraska with a degree in Business and Psychology. Colleen has worked in private, public and non-profit organizations. She personally attends every Shindigs event to ensure client and guests are taken care of.

Ashley graduated with honors from East Carolina University with a Hospitality Leadership degree and a concentration in Conventions and Special Events, while also minoring in Business Administration. She has worked in private clubs, the hotel industry, and the corporate environment bringing vast knowledge to Shindigs. Ashley holds the following certifications: ServSafe, Cvent, Hotel Business Acumen, Hotel Industry Analytics, and is also TIPS certified.

Colleen was fantastic. I kept changing up my vision and even without meeting in person ahead of the wedding, she knew what I wanted. I had a million ideas of my vision in my head and gave her a book advising what I wanted but also giving her free rein to switch it up, pointing out that they were ideas. She took these ideas and elevated them. She singlehandedly set up AND broke down all of the decor for our 95-person wedding. She was working the entire time she was there.
